And we promise to keep going.
Manufacturing has to play a relevant & aggressive role to cherish our Prime Minister's dream to place India on the world map as a manufacturing hub and give global recognition to the Indian economy.
India ranks among the world’s 10 largest manufacturing countries and the manufacturing sector contributes 16% of our total GDP currently. There is a potential for this sector to account for 25-30 per cent of the country’s GDP and create up to 90 million domestic jobs by 2025. Although, manufacturing is the backbone of any economy globally, it has always played an understated role. It is important for us as an industry to acknowledge ourselves for what we bring to the world and look ahead to what else we can provide.
To celebrate manufacturing and bring this large fraternity together Bharat Fritz Werner (BFW) will be celebrating Manufacturing Day as an annual event. The first edition of Manufacturing Day will be held on 19th October 2016 @ Hyatt Regency, Pune. We have partnered with Manufacturing Today, a monthly B2B publication to promote and stage the event.
Eminent speakers from prominent manufacturing industries will be addressing the gathering.
We expect an attendance of over 200 delegates from the entire Manufacturing industry.
