AGV Technical Specialist
- Department: Research & Development Department
- Reporting to: General Manager
Responsibility
Key responsibilities
- Should be a Graduate/Post Graduate Engineer in Electrical/Electronics from a reputed university and possess at least 5~6 years on complete.
- Electrical/Electronics/Navigation design including communication protocols of multi AGV. Should have knowledge on design, application of Line follower, Inductive, RFID,SLAM [LiDar] based Navigation systems.
- Selection, Interfacing and hands on programming of Safety PLC, PLC, Area scanners, Servo motors interface and so on pertaining to AGV.
- Sound knowledge in working with multi AGV design architecture.
- Should be able to work independently on AGV platform from Scheduling, Health monitoring, Fault management, etc. and should have flair to indigenise as much as possible while meeting the specification and Performance.
- Exposure to peripheral equipment handshake from AGV would be an added advantage.
- Position is based out of Bangalore and will have an excellent opportunity to grow in this domain.
- Candidate should be energetic and keen to adapt latest technologies in communication and interface
- End – To – End responsibility for the AGV design and deployment from the controls perspective.
- Innovative Design thinking, transfer the taught process to any form of image/ drawing, etc. and develop, code, implement in software of web portal.
- Responsible from requirements design to production and commercial deployment release.
- Design, develop, code, test & debug system software.
- Review code and design.
- Integrate and validate new product designs.
- Provide post production support.
- Assess third party and open source software.

- Vehicle controls design [ Must know ] >, Python [ Must Know ] In Vehicle Communic Vehicle Sensor selection, interface, Code [ Must know ].

- Vehicle to Base station communication [ Must know ].
- Very Good Knowledge on Vehicle Odometer control [ Must know ].
- Customer interaction & Requirement understanding [ Must know ].
- BOM, Wiring Diagram, Costing [ Must know ] Support to deploy [ Must know ].
- Familiarity with one IioT / Cloud platform exposure [ Good to know ] Proficient in understanding the requirements and coming out with a layout for POC.
